In 2013, Reverend Byron Stevenson’s tenacity was recognized by The Houston Forward Times newspaper, and he received prestigious designation as one of Houston’s Visionary Pastors.

An advocate and model for higher education, professional development, and excellence, Reverend Stevenson is a certified School Business Manager holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern University and A&M College and a Masters of Arts degree in Theological Studies from Houston Baptist University. He has also lectured at the esteemed Princeton Theological Seminary.

Reverend Stevenson is married to his high school sweetheart, Sonya Taylor Stevenson, and they are the proud parents of two daughters, Claire and Cydney.
